Dry Ingredients
1/2 cup almond meal
1/2 cup hazelnut meal (or just use 1 cup of almond meal)
1/4 cup sunflower kernels (or crushed nuts – anything to add some texture)
1/4 cup desiccated coconut
“Wet” Ingredients
1/4 cup Coconut Oil (melted)
1/4 Cup Coconut Milk
2 tsp Vanilla Essence
Stevia (equates to 2 tsp sugar)
Chia Bomb (2 tsp Chai in 1/4 cup water – let sit for 3-5 minutes)
4 tsp Cocoa
How to make
Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl
Melt the wet ingredients into a paste
Add in this order
- Melt Coconut Oil in saucepan over medium heat
- Add Coconut Milk
- Add Vanilla Essence
- Add Stevia and stir
- Add Cocoa and Stir
- Stir the chai bomb well and then add to the paste
Pour Wet Ingredients in Dry Ingredients and Mix with a wooden spoon (it will be quite sloppy)
Make small balls (yes…still very sloppy)
Put some Dessicated Coconut into a small bowl and roll the balls in that
Place balls on a tray and put in fridge for at least 30 minutes
